This week, HB Woodlawn Program (Arlington Public School) educator, Christy Gill, had her 8th grade students explore the meaning of justice.

On Wednesday, students read the thirteen guiding principles of the Black Lives Matter movement. On Thursday and Friday, students saw a video about justice and then engaged in a jigsaw reading of various articles about justice. The culminating activity will be to discuss what they think are the fundamentals of a just society and develop their own principles for justice (similar to the thirteen guiding principles).
