Professor Ibram X. Kendi, founder and director of the Anti-Racist Research and Policy Center at American University, will offer a presentation for teachers based on his book Stamped from the Beginning: The Definitive History of Racist Ideas in America.

Hosted by the D.C. Area Educators for Social Justice, the DCPS Secondary Literacy Office, and the Washington Teachers’ Union at the True Reformer Building (1200 U Street, NW, Washington, D.C.) from 6:00pm-8:30pm. Books will be available for sale and signing.
