Support D.C. Area Anti-Racist, Social Justice Teaching
We have big plans for early 2021, when we will coordinate the fourth annual D.C. Area Black Lives Matter at School Week of Action and Year of Purpose. We will:
Offer virtual workshops to prepare for the week of action
Host a virtual curriculum fair with the Howard University School of Education
Add to our popular collection of Black Lives Matter at School teaching resources (widely used regionally and nationally)
Provide free children's and young adult e-books based on the Black Lives Matter 13 principles
Collect and share teaching stories
Following this summer's rebellion, the Black Lives Matter at School Week of Action is more important than ever. Your donation will help us work with D.C. area teachers to overcome the challenges of remote instruction to make the week of action a success.
Teaching for Change reaches 7,000+ educators in D.C., Maryland, and Virginia through D.C. Area Educators for Social Justice. We'll draw from our experiences of working with local teachers virtually throughout the pandemic.
Thank you in advance for your support of social justice, anti-racist teaching.
