About this Event

Each year, the United Nations Association of the National Capital Area (UNA-NCA) commemorates the United Nations' Universal Declaration of Human Rights with a celebratory event.

In celebrating the 79th anniversary of the United Nations and the 76th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, UNA-NCA will recognize outstanding individuals and organizations who are working to improve human rights in their communities and around the world.

Teaching for Change was selected by (UNA-NCA) for their 2024 Community Human Rights Award.
