Social Justice Printmaking Workshop for Teachers

Upper elementary through middle school teachers are invited to learn how to run a Social Justice Printmaking workshop in your own classroom led by Alex Huttinger (http://www.alexhuttinger.com/) . No prior printmaking experience required! In the workshops, students are taught the traditional art form of relief printmaking grounded in a review of social art movements, social history, and contemporary events in order to help them generate new ways of thinking and expressing themselves.

The fee for this workshop is $20. Materials and light refreshments included. Space is limited.
