Educators are invited to join D.C. Area Educators for Social Justice to learn more about the Black Lives Matter at School Week of Action on December 17.

Educators are invited to join us as we begin preparations for the 2020 D.C. Area Black Lives Matter at School Week of Action (February 3-7). Join us to:

  • Browse lessons and books related to the Black Lives Matter 13 guiding principles

  • Discuss plans for the week of action with other educators

  • Hear from fourth grade students about a project they are working on as part of the week of action

  • Receive free copies of the 1619 Project booklet or YA/elementary books

  • Browse and purchase books from Shoutmouse Press (we love the new book, Man Up!)

  • Enjoy Mexican hot chocolate, warm apple cider, and other light refreshments

ASL interpretation will be available.
