EmpowerEd is collaborating with DC Action for a DC Education Budget Town Hall on Thursday, Apr 24, 5:30-8pm, at the Festival Center. The purpose of this event is to bring together educators, parents and families, students, and school partners to discuss the education priorities most important to them and their communities. With the risk of federally-forced cuts looming and our local budget process delayed- come share your perspectives and priorities as DC leaders consider what to do next. We can't let the city make any decisions around our education budget without listening to community voice first-- so in our uncertain federal and local budget landscape, we're inviting DC policymakers to listen to our needs and champion our ideas.
