D.C. Activist Meet and Greet Lesson
The purpose of this lesson is to introduce students to important historical figures who have had an impact on the history of Washington D.C.
Students will read a short bio of a D.C. activist, then take on the role of that person and circulate throughout the classroom and to answer the questions posed on the handout, “Getting to Know your D.C. Historical Figure: Meet and Greet.”
